Dress Code by Class Style
Proper dancewear helps teachers see alignment, keeps dancers safe, and creates a focused classroom environment. Hair should always be secured away from the face for every class.

Hip Hop

Clean sneakers reserved for dance only so floors stay safe and clean.

-
Half‑sole “turners,” lyrical shoes, or bare feet, depending on teacher preference.
-
Hair secured off the face in a ponytail or bun.
Acro / Tumbling
-
Fitted clothing like leotards, biketards, or snug tops with shorts or leggings (no loose t‑shirts or baggy shorts).
-
Bare feet, unless your teacher specifies otherwise.
-
No jewelry or accessories that could catch on mats or impede movement.
Preschool / Combo Classes
-
Young dancers may wear any color leotard with tights; skirts or dance dresses are welcome.
-
Correct dance shoes for the styles in their combo (for example, ballet slippers WITHOUT ties and tap shoes).
-
Hair pulled back from the face; add sweaters or warm layers only at the start of class if needed.
General Dress Code Reminders
-
Clothes should be fitted enough that teachers can see posture and alignment.
-
No jeans, street shoes, or outdoor sneakers on the dance floor.
-
Write your dancer’s name in all shoes and bags to prevent mix‑ups
